About Us

Whether you grow in a greenhouse, conservatory or on a windowsill your interest in orchids is something to enjoy.

Why not add to that enjoyment and join like-minded people at Cambridge Orchid Society? We are a small friendly Society formed in 1956 with the aim of promoting the culture, knowledge and popularity of orchids.

We meet at 7.30pm at Great Shelford Memorial Hall, Woollards Lane, Great Shelford on the first Friday of every month (except January and August)

We have a varied programme of events with many guest speakers, nurserymen and members of other societies, on a wide range of orchid related subjects. There is also a table of display plants in bloom, grown by members.

So if you have an interest in growing or just seeing orchids please come along to one of our meetings where you will be made most welcome.
